Before entering the yoga studio, please make sure to check-in with the front desk and receive a token from them. Instructors will collect these tokens at the beginning of class to ensure you’ve checked in at the front desk.
You will not be allowed to take a class without giving the instructor a token, or if you arrive more than 5 minutes late.
Climbing can put more intense stress on a body than any other sport. Yoga balances out the intensity of climbing by stretching the muscles, promoting balance, increasing core strength, and teaching you how to be in your body. Additionally, yoga teaches climbers how to calm their mind – helping them after a fall or even in the middle of a crux.
At Crux we provide a variety drop-in yoga classes and styles for climbers. All yoga classes are included with a Crux membership.

Start your day off right with an invigorating yoga class. Experience the benefits of conscious breathing while warming up your body, loosening muscles, and melting away any stiffness you woke up with. Walk in to work (or play) feeling calm and collected. Expect to move through postures that both stretch and strengthen your body.
V1 Vinyasa is meant for anyone looking to work on the basics and strengthen their understanding of yoga. It is perfect for beginners to build a strong foundation and knowledge that they can use to build their personal practice and up their comfort level in a variety of classes.
This class will begin with a check in, breath/ mindfulness exercise moving into a flow through key postures of yoga. Focus will be on safe alignment with options to modify postures while offering space to connect with your breath and explore new movement in your body. End with savasana (resting posture) to integrate the days’ work.
Unwind from your day and prepare for the one ahead, with this renewing, strengthening, and restful class.
Unwind & Flow connects the alignment principles with a slow-paced flow. Emphasis is placed on connecting to your breath, rooting into you body and offering a safe space to move like you.
Are you recovering from an injury, climbing or otherwise? Would you like to improve your capacity to withstand wear and tare on your body? Try Align & Flow! Expect to learn about the proper alignment of traditional yoga poses, and to use these poses to assist your mobility and flexibility. You may also use props to release muscles and work into joints. Bounce back more quickly and learn to better handle your stress response.
Explore the connection of mind, body and soul through drawing awareness to your breath as it links with your movement. Each rigorous class has been crafted as a journey inward, encouraging you to consciously seek your edge mentally and physically, while working toward a peak pose. Energetic balancing, safe alignment, and personal modifications are emphasized on the mat. All levels welcome; adjustments will be given to those new to yoga. Come play!
Prepare for a restful evening with restorative yoga. Relax and tune in to your body and mind, using seated meditation and breath work to surrender and deepen into floor-based postures. Expect to utilize a variety of yoga props such as bolsters, blocks, and straps, as well as the support of the wall to settle into stretches for an extended time. Lacrosse/tennis balls are also used to work on trigger point release.
Acro is not only a great way to stretch, strengthen and cultivate balance in our bodies, but it is also a wonderful way to connect and grow with others. This is a unique workshop where everyone is encouraged to try both flying and basing! At Crux, we take informed (and enthusiastic) consent seriously; you will always have the opportunity to state your boundaries and choose what you want to try.

Yoga Nidra Meditation
Learn to unwind tension in your body through breath awareness and yoga-informed stretching. This class includes warm-ups to target specific areas of the body and intelligent postures to relieve stress in the low back, neck, shoulders, hips and hamstrings. Share your injuries or stretch requests with the instructor before class if you’d like the class structured with your needs in mind. This is an active, all levels class.
Located in the mezzanine, our yoga studio has stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light and overlook downtown Austin, South Congress, and the neighborhood Alpine pond. The yoga studio features cork floors, two walls of mirrors and is stocked with Doterra Therapeutic grade Essential Oils. Mats, blocks, blankets, and straps are available.
