We’re at it again – calling all ghosts, ghouls and goblins to Crux’s 6th Crank’nStein.

It’s a red-point competition that’ll be black light, dancing, climbing, and music all night!

We got the brew, now all we need is you.

And don’t forget, scare up a fright – costumes are a must on this night!

Competition Format & Schedule

Men’s, Women’s, and Non-Binary

  • 2 Sessions | 1:30P-4:30P & 6P-9P
  • Check-in will start an hour before each session | 12:30P & 5P
  • Rules will start 15 min prior to each session | 1:15P & 5:45P

  • Tarot Card Reading by Betwixt Divination | 1:30P – 4:30P
  • Tattoos by JD Tattoo | 5-8P
  • DJ AJ | 6P -10P
  • Stein holding contest and Costume contest following last session | 9 P
  • Costume Contest | 9:15P
  • Awards at 9:30P and Dance Party

Red point format for your top five climbs. You will be given a scorecard that let’s you know what points each problem is worth. You can climb as many problems as you wish, and we will count the top five climbs that you complete. We will tape lines in front of problems, so competitors can line up to climb.

No dogs on competition day please.


1st, 2nd, & 3rd in Novice, Intermediate, and Advance. 1st place in all categories gets a Crux Stein.

All prizes not picked up on the night of will be held at the front desk until 10/31. We will not ship prizes.


Prizes will be awarded for best costumes, so suit up!

Registration increases $5 after 10/14


If registration is full, please keep checking back as spaces may open up. You can call the front desk to be added to the waitlist, or we will open up walk-ins to any no-shows 30min into the session.


Participants may cancel for a full refund until October 15th. Participants that cancel October 15th- 21st will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given on or after the event date. Registration can be transferred to another person as long as they are competing in the same session. Please email info@cruxcc.com for change/cancellation requests.


We cannot put on such successful and wonderful comps without the help of our volunteers! We thank you ahead of time for signing-up. An email with more details will be sent to all volunteers two days prior to competition day.

All volunteers will get a day pass per hour of volunteering. Day passes must be collected on day of.
