You may get knocked down. You may get challenged. But we know for sure, you’ll Come and Send It.
If you’re expecting to sign up for an average ol’ climbing comp, think again. We’re talking top notch boulders, flying tacos, beer pouring, stoke that is out-of-this-world, and SO. MUCH. MORE. So do yourself a favor, grab your climbing shoes, fill up the lucky chalk bucket, and get ready for Come and Send It Vol 7.
Sign up for your session and then join us later for a beer, awards and to watch the pros battle it out in the finals! We’ve had seven years of Come and Send Its, but you better believe we’re just getting started.
Please no dogs on competition day.
Spectators are free to come and watch.

If you think you can flash (send with no falls) 8-10 climbs in the grade range shown next to the category, then you should move up to the next category. i.e. If you are thinking of completing in Women’s Intermediate and you typically send every V2-V4 you try without falling you should move up to the Women’s Advanced category. Unless you are having the best climbing day of your life, you should not flash every problem in your category.
Come and Send It Fest’s redpoint round will use USA Climbing’s Redpoint “Modified” Format with their “multi-zone” scoring system. The goal is to complete the highest quantity of problems, where each problem has the same value and scores, and where all problems are counted. A competitor’s final score shall be the cumulative value of points recorded on each problem. Ties will be broken by falls, number of tops, flashes, and then falls to tops. If you have further questions, please consult the USA Climbing Rulebook.
The top 5 competitors from Open category in Women and Men will move on to climb in an on sight finals that will use USA Climbing’s “multi-zone” scoring system.
Points are earned by completing a problem from start to finish while establishing control of the finish hold with two hands, or by controlling a “zone” hold with one hand. Attempts must be recorded (every time the feet leave the ground) by placing a (0, 5, 10, 15, or 25) in the appropriate box for each attempt or completion of the boulder problem. If a hold spins or breaks step off immediately and notify the judge or the attempt will count. If you use a hold or feature that is “off route” no more points can be earned and the attempt will count. Any completions not judged, will not be counted towards your final score.
If you have any questions about the rules, please email ben@cruxcc.com
